Italian-Inspired Commercial Shop and Restaurant – 50m²

Interior design for a vibrant commercial space, combining a wine shop and restaurant with distinctive Italian cultural influences.

• Crafted a thoughtful interior layout that integrates the wine shop, cellar, and dining areas within the limited 50m², ensuring both functionality and comfort.

• Designed bespoke furniture, including unique cork lighting features and tables crafted from wine boxes, adding character and Italian charm to the space.

• Electrical layouts, material choices, finishes, and overall interior design to create an immersive dining experience.

• Produced 3D visualisations to demonstrate the design’s concept and spatial flow.

 

The design challenge was to optimise the small space while ensuring a harmonious balance between the commercial and seating areas. A dedicated wine cellar at the back of the shop enhances the atmosphere, offering a touch of luxury.

Inspired by the rich traditions of Italian culture, the space features materials and design elements that evoke the warmth and elegance of Italy. The bespoke cork lighting and wine box tables were carefully designed to embody Italy's renowned craftsmanship, creating a space that is both functional and inviting.
